Three pages are winging their way to Germany, the UK and Greece.
Here's a sneak peek for Ann. You have been so patient.
Kath here's a little peek for you. The page for Kath was the last one on my list.
Mandy here's a little peek for you.

This exchange has been wonderful. Thank you Ruth for putting it all together and for all the others in this exchange who did their bit to make pages for my book of Leaves which is going to be a real treasure. Thank you.

Leaves from Liz

Liz thank you for this page its going to be a wonderful addition to my book. Received it a couple of days back. Love the little glass leaves.
There's a little quote on the back by Tagore -
'let your life lightly dance on the edges of Time like dew on the tip of a Leaf '.

Leaves

Ann the second page you created for me has arrived in Bangalore. After two months and given up as lost. The envelope had been opened but I don't thing anything has been lost.

Its a beautiful page Anne and I think the depiction of the four seasons is wonderful. When I saw the sneak peek of this page I was really excited and I can't tell you how disappointed I was when two months went by with no sign of it in the mail.

Wonder if the first page will reach me after all. Thank you Ann for this beautiful page.
Click here to see the third page Ann created for me because we thought the first two were lost forever.

Leaves from Gayle for June

This beautiful page from Gayle in California arrived about a week or ten days back and was waiting for me to get back from my travels.
Gayle has used Shibori techniques and Easter egg dyes to create this page. I really like the watercolour like effect you've achieved Gayle.

April - Seashore

As Juliette wrote my seashore page arrived. That makes me very happy because the page I made in March is lost in the mail.

Creating this page I first painted the image with acrylic colours on S80 and then stitched with the machine using embroidery thread.

I don't know.... but after I finished the page it remains me of my Holidays in France.

February's leaves made by Mandy

Here's what Mandy created for me. A colourful page of leaves which evoke the colours of autumn. She has used a number of techniques - opaque seta colours to paint the background, applique ,reverse applique and machine embroidery.
The reverse has a little pocket into which I'm going to tuck in the note with all the details. Thank you for "the bit of fun" - a little packet of buttons, in the shape of leaves and little acorns. I'm going to use them when I make up the book at the end of the year.

Carmen your page was put in the mail early this week, you should have it by next week.
I've yet to begin the page for March which is for Chris, will get started this weekend.
Take care all and have a good weekend.
