Langsam geht es weiter: Dear Jane
We are a group of fiber artists from throughout the world that are creating fabric/fiber book pages and swapping them to create 13 unique books. Each month, we each create a new book page for one of our partners in their chosen theme. We are beginning this process in January of 2010 and by the end of the year, each of us will have a complete book. We'd love to hear your comments on all our pages!
Oh, wow!! Thank you so much in advance,it looks wonderful. Did you use the linocuts as a base? I'll be down at the kafeneon on a daily basis now waiting for the postman!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what you mean. The prints I made from the linocuts have been used as the base for the finished page. The whole thing is mounted on heavyweight vilene - the type used for pelmets.
ReplyDeleteIf you would like the original linocuts, please let me know Kath.
Wonderful machine embroidery - I can't wait to see the finished page.
ReplyDeleteI am intrigued! Can't wait to see the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteYes, sorry Mandy I did of course mean to ask if you used the PRINTS from the linocuts!!! Many thanks for the offer, but the linocuts looked so beautiful and intricate you must of course keep them to use again. I'm sure they'll inspire me to do similar.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, do have a go with the lino prints. It is great fun. Just be very careful with the cutting blades they are really sharp!
