Today I collected more flowers plus a beautiful card! I hope I've done them justice here. Actually when I scanned the card front in the picture showed a lot more colour and depth than I could see with my naked eye! I am honoured by the page - Ruth says she has done so much more handstitching on those tiny flowers than normal, they are beautiful, thank you Ruth. But the border is scrumptious-layers with sheers then bound with a lovely silky cord. This is a page of many parts; thank you so much Ruth

really lovely work!
ReplyDeleteWonderful work! And again, I'm so fascinated by fabric techniques that I have never used. Well done Ruth.
ReplyDeleteKath, I am so glad it arrived and that you like it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delicate page. I love the range of greens and gentle colours used. I must investigate lutrador. I have heard of it befoe, but never considered this technique.
ReplyDeleteYour Indian Paintbrush(?, am I right???) are stunning Ruth!! I love all of the layers of wonderful texture!!!
ReplyDeleteThe red flowers are Indian Paintbrush and the white ones are beargrass. It's based on Montana wildflowers.
ReplyDeleteThis is a stunning piece! I'm intrigued by how the Lutrador looks. It will have to go on my list of things to play with! Ruth, you did a wonderful job!
